Tasks of the Ordem dos Engenheiros (OE)

To award the Engineering title and to regulate the practice of the engineering profession;
To ensure the interests, rights and prerogatives of Engineers and protect the respective title and profession;
To ensure the social function, dignity and prestige of the profession and to enhance the respective professional qualification;
To foster development of the teaching of Engineering;
